  • Crown Raising

Crown raising involves removing the lower branches of a tree for access purposes where you need space to pass under or park. It also allows more light to pass through.

  • Crown Reduction

Crown reduction involves reducing the shape, size & therefore weight of the tree, to prevent dangerous snapping in poor and windy weather conditions.

  • Crown Thinning

Crown thinning involves removing branches from within the crown of the tree to make it appear less dense.

  • Dead Wooding

Dead wooding involves the removal of dead limbs or branches to prevent a tree from becoming dangerous. Unattended dead wood can also attract pests which disease the healthy parts of the tree.

  • Tree Removal

Tree removal involves felling the tree safely, either when the tree is diseased or damaged, other pruning techniques are not viable, or where a tree is causing damage to surrounding property.

  • Stump Grinding

Stump grinding involves the grinding down of the nuisance stumps of felled trees, so you are free to re-purpose the area, perhaps replanting another tree or putting a shed at the end of the garden.

  • Pollarding

Pollarding involves a method of pruning that keeps trees and shrubs smaller than they would naturally grow, to restrict the plant to that height year on year.

  • Hedge Cutting

Hedge cutting involved the trimming of hedges to maintain their denseness and compactness, carried out to your exact specifications.

  • Fruit Tree Pruning

Fruit tree pruning involves the cutting and removing of parts of a fruit tree, to control growth, remove dead or diseased wood, and stimulate new flowers and fruit buds.

There’s a reason we are so ‘poplar’!
