About our Managing Director & Owner,
James Drewitt
From a young age, James had a deep affinity with the great outdoors, and never understood why anyone would want to be inside. To this day, he is happiest when tangled up in a 100ft poplar!
When school ended, James’ love for nature scaled into a full-time occupation. He became an apprentice for a local tree surgery company, and quickly ‘climbed’ his way up the ranks to become a technically skilled arborist, with an exceptional talent for identifying trees.
But James knew he wanted more - to start his own tree surgery company built on his roots; a deep respect for mother nature and her green spaces. 14 years later, CJ Tree Surgeons is now a nationally recognised Arb Approved company that offers five-star customer service and a team of arborists who truly care.

I oversee site visits and crew management to ensure seamless job completion for you the client as well as initial quotations and diary management.

Why CJs? I’ve worked as a graphic designer independently for 15 years, but James is my brother and getting to work with family is the best fulfilment ever!
